Rev Dr Tony Sargent

Tony is a graduate of London Bible College and for nearly thirty years was the senior minister of Worthing Tabernacle in South-east England.  He did his Doctorate of Ministry at Westminster Theological Seminary, and his thesis was published under the title of The Sacred Anointing.  He also wrote the controversial book Animal Right and Wrongs and he is a member of Compassion in World Farming. 

Tony is committed to Bethany Hospital, Bombay, and Emmanuel Ministries in Calcutta.  He serves as a director of several Christian organisations including O.M., Elam Ministries, and is on the Council of the Evangelical Alliance, Scotland. 

In 2008 Tony was awarded an Honorary Doctorate by the University of Strathclyde.
