Funding the Family Business Seminar

In partnership with Stewardship, we are hosting a Funding the Family Business one-day seminar on Saturday 21 April 2012. For anyone who is either thinking about or engaged in raising personal support for Christian ministry, this is a rare opportunity to hear from Myles Wilson, who has led these training seminars in the UK and for mission agencies across the globe for a number of years. The workbook accompanying the seminar is widely used by mission agencies such as Operation Mobilisation, Wycliffe Bible Translators, British Youth for Christ and Friends International, who recognise its value as a training tool and source book.
Whether you’re just starting out or have been living on personal support for many years, the seminar will help you to engage with the way in which God ‘funds his family business’ and explore your role within it. You will also come away with some very practical ideas to help you build a strong support base.
Here’s what some of the participants at some of the 2011 seminars said:
"I've been involved with a large global mission agency for nearly 40 years and I’ve had support training from some of the best in the world. No-one has been more prepared, knowledgeable, biblical and wise than Myles Wilson.”
"It challenged my thinking on giving and receiving."
"I came away with a fuller understanding of why it is OK to be a receiver."
