What is Christian Youth & Community Work About?
It's about more than you might think ...
It's about ...
- listening and responding to young people and communities.
- taking a ‘God’s-eye’ view of people.
- unlocking potential
- being a prophet to the church and the community
- thinking counter culturally
- journeying with people
Youth and community work training at ICC prepares people for a variety of church and community based work allowing students to enter into a wide range of roles in the Christian and non-Christian sectors when they graduate.
| BA / BA (Hons) Youth & Community Work with Applied Theology A vocational training programme to equip Christian youth and community workers for a range of ministries. |
| MTh Community Learning & Development with Applied Theology A professional study programme for practitioners, offering an opportunity to think both practically and theologically about community learning and development. |

“Nowadays individuals are bombarded with a confusing array of choices, ideas and messages. This means that there is a desperate need for youth and community workers to be guides, philosophers and friends in the midst of this complex world.”
Graeme McMeekin
