Welcome to the Library

Library Mousemat ImageAt ICC Library we are committed to providing a high quality of service to our users. Our professionally qualified staff aim to facilitate access to our broad range of resources. We also aim to support learning and research in the college by providing access to external resources.

Our purpose is to facilitate access to information for staff, students and external members of the library.

Our functions are:

  • To support teaching, learning and research in the college
  • To provide access to a specialised resource base to those outside the college
  • To build and preserve a library collection which reflects breadth and depth in terms of subject area and theological perspective

Library Announcement for Loan Period Changeover

3 Day Loans to 7 Day Loans
From 6 February 2012 current 3 Day Loans (3DLs) will become 7 Day Loans (7DLs). The book labels will be adjusted over a period of time.

The limit on the number of 7DLs that can be borrowed at any one time will be 4.

Reserved Books
From 6 February 2012, for a trial period, Reserved books will be issued via the Issue Desk or Self Issue System for 2 hour loan periods. They will be known as Timed Reserved Loans (TRLs) which can be taken out and borrowed overnight.
