Children's Ministry
One of the challenges of children’s ministry today is the sheer scale of the need - 17 million children die each year from starvation or malnutrition, 10 million work in the sex industry, 200 million are child labourers, and on and on.
Ministering among children in crisis situations is incredibly demanding. It requires people who can work in teams, often cross-culturally, with children’s families and in their communities. And it needs people who know how to steward their emotional resources.
At ICC we seek to develop these skills and to multiply Christian children’s workers to be light and love among hurting children.
| BA / BA (Hons) Theology with Children's Ministry Besides theological, biblical, historical and cross-cultural studies students take specific courses on different aspects of children's ministry, in particular ministry to the many children at risk around the world. |
"Our children's ministry specialism, with its mix of biblical and theological study, selected and supervised placements, and international perspective, enables students to develop relevant ministries all over the world."
Vicki Shaver
Former Lecturer in Children's Ministry
