David Miller, Vice-Principal of ICC said “Many Christians are still not aware that the majority of the UK’s traditional Bible colleges now offer validated degree qualifications, and teach at a standard comparable to universities.” He goes on to point out that while Theology degrees are good preparation for roles in full-time ministry and mission, they also offer excellent preparation for a range of jobs. Transferable skills such as communication, teamwork and leadership feature in most courses. And learning how to make presentations, how to assess arguments and different points of view, and how to respect and value the opinions of others are all vital skills for life in a multi-cultural society.

So, whether as an alternative route to a degree, or as a foundational year before going on to university, Bible colleges are good options.
